Build a Workout: From previous

Build a Workout: From previous

Reuse a workout you've already built and adapt it.

‘From previous’ is one of the four ways to build a workout when adding activities to a base program. Instead of starting from scratch, you pick a workout you've already created and edit it to fit — the fastest way to reuse your best work.

Getting here: the process is the same as the other build methods up to the point where you choose a build method. In your base program, go to Activities, press Adjust, tap the + icon, then select Previous. (See Create a Base Program for the full path.)

Choose a workout

  1. In your base program, go to Activities, press Adjust, tap the + icon, and choose Previous.

  2. Select one of the workouts you've already built — for example Upper.

Edit the workout

  1. Adjust the workout however you need. You can:

  • give it a new name

  • reorder exercises, or add above / add below

  • swap an exercise or remove one

  • create a superset, circuit or rep range — press Select field type to do this

  1. Add more exercises to the workout by searching the exercise library — use the filters (equipment, body part, muscles) or the search bar to find what you need.

Save it to the base program

  1. When you're happy, press Create. You'll be taken back to the base program menu with the workout added. From here, carry on setting up Fuel and Journal entries as covered in Create a Base Program.
