Activities & Workouts: Overview
How workouts are built and edited — and where.
Activities are the movement side of a program. They cover workouts (exercises with sets, reps and weight), plus strains (other physical activity such as sports) and recovery (things like meditation or sauna). This is your map of how workouts are put together and changed.
Where you work on activities
You add and edit activities in two places, using the same screens:
when building a base program (see Create a Base Program / Edit or Delete a Base Program), and
when adjusting a client's live program from their profile (see View and Adjust a Client's Program).
Building a workout
When you add a workout you can build it in one of four ways:
Build a Workout: Step-by-step — answer a few questions and it's built for you.
Build a Workout: Freestyle — build it in conversation with Areela.
Manual — build it yourself from a blank canvas (covered in Create a Base Program).
Build a Workout: From previous — reuse a workout you've already made.
The exercise library
Add exercises from the library — search by name or use the filters (equipment, body part, muscles). You can add several at once.
Editing an exercise — the “...” menu
Tap the ... on any exercise to make changes. That's the hub for everything, each with its own guide:
Edit Sets, Reps & Weight
Set an Exercise's Field Type (Reps / Rep Range)
Build Supersets & Circuits
Swap or Substitute an Exercise
Reorder & Remove Exercises
When you're done, tap Save Changes.

Beyond workouts: activities also include strains and recovery — add these the same way from the Select Activity screen (Any Strain / Any Recovery).
