Set an Exercise's Field Type (Reps or Rep Range)
Set an Exercise's Field Type (Reps or Rep Range)
Choose how an exercise's target is entered — a fixed number of reps, or a rep range.
When you build or edit a workout, each set has a weight field and a target field. Select Field Type lets you choose how that target is entered for an exercise: as a single Reps number (for example 10) or a Rep Range (for example 8–10).
Where: this works anywhere you edit a workout — building a base program or adjusting a client's program from their profile. The steps are the same in both.
Change the field type
Open a workout so you can see its exercises. Each exercise lists its sets with a weight (kg) field and a reps target (the rest between sets shows as, e.g., 01:00).

Tap the ... on the exercise, then choose Select Field Type.

Pick the field type:
Reps — a single target number (for example 10).
Rep Range — a target range (for example 8–10).
These are currently the only two field types.

Enter the value
Tap the target field and use the number pad. For a Rep Range, use the – key to set the two ends (for example 8-10). The set then shows the range (e.g. "8–10 reps").
Close the pad, then tap Save Changes.
